Why is Broner so terrified of midget opponents with no power?

    Did the same thing against Ponce De Leon and Escobedo. On the back foot countering when he should have just overpowered them. He did nothing for 3 rounds tonight until he was sure it was safe to attack.

    Lol hope you're just trolling, and having fun. Broner straight walked down, and plodded in flat foot style all night straight into Escobedo, daring him to punch. Broner lead with his shots many times.

    Broner fights similar to FLoyd NOW, not Floyd 10 years ago. Broner has that rare, but very effective, and hard to deal with "pressure counterpunching" style. He walks you down in a wide stance, flat footed in an upright stance. He keeps his lead hand laid low across his stomach, and back hand cocked under his chin. He does not square himself up, and almost comes at you sideways, with chin hidden behind the shoulder. He definitely does not fight scared at all.

    I think if Escobedo used his jab more, he could hvae lasted long, and made it a better fight. But it would have still just been a matter of time before Broner started timing him, and firing his straight, and counter left hooks over, or under his jab.
