Why is Brook fighting at 147 ? I think he will look drained and get knocked out

Brook is clearly now suited to 154 , I think he beats Canelo.

But he now comes back down to 147 , I ultimately think his body cannot take it and will get stopped by Spence in about 10 rounds and not because of talent but strength.

He will look like Hamed vs Barrera where he almost looked grey on the scales.

    Peace.

He should have fought someone like Lamont Peterson to see how his body felt at 147 before fighting Spence

According to what I saw he is better suited against smaller fighters.

    Like Khan.....

No wonder he is desperate to cash out against him.

Anyone with Pop who can impose himself on Khan is going to KO, Brook is no exception.

He didn't have a choice though did he... he HAD to fight spence or vacate.. then you look weak vacating. He is fighting spence because of pride.. he would rather lose the belt in the ring than give it up. It's going to interesting to see spence in a real fight where a guy fights back. I don't think weight will be an issue, kell is in training and has over 3 months to make weight, they'v said before he can make it well if given around 12 weeks. It's just when he has 8 weeks its a real struggle. He trained for around 16 weeks for the porter fight due to dates being changed around and he made the weight fine

With Canelo moving up to Canelo weight Mk II. There are no other big money fights available to him at JMW so is staying to try and get more big profile fights and pay days at WW. Completely agree that Brook is much more suited to JMW but remains to be seen how much weight will affect him in the Spence fight. If he remains in relatively decent condition we could be in for a quality fight..

Dont want to hear any weight excuses and im a Brook fan. Think he will shut a few people up to be honest and i just hope he can stop spence, if not the cries for robbery on here will be hilarious.

I think he did the right thing staying at 147, there are no big fights for him at 154 compared to 147 where he has Spence, Thurman, Pac, Khan. Those are all big fights where as 154 you got like guys like Andrade & Lara who are very good fighters but not big names.

All the brits picking him to win don't seem to realise this. His days of being a force at 147 were over when he stepped up to 160. Fighters have very little success when they drop back in weight. RJJ only became chinny when he came back down from hw. Watch for him to fade after 5 or 6 rds of a brutal body attack from Spence with his corner coming to the rescue again. Then he will move to 154 where he has no future. He should have conceded b side status and a career high payday with Khan. He has only got himself to blame.

Has Brook ever had problems making 147? I don't think
this is an issue at all.
