Why is Bute not fighting Hopkins next???

Bute is much better then Pascal, this is easy to notice if you have a decent functioning brain.

Fight not happening may have something to do with the fact that Bhop ducked Bute before and/or this fight has little to give and plenty to lose for Bute.

 

Because Hopkins won't move down to 168lbs.

Not that simple. The issue here is both weight, and schedule related.

Hopkins wants a rematch with Pascal, will not expose himself to a potential loss in the meantime.

Interbox already has a firm-ish plan for Bute, for 2011.

Hopkins won't go down to 168, Bute won't fight @ upwards of 168-170.

Brinkley was a mando, like it or not. Hopkins will not fight Bute as he's awaiting a Pascal rematch, that'd make no ****in sense. Bute already has a schedule for 2011, and Magee was the only guy who was A) available, and B) ranked decently, for this fight in March. Bum chaser? Second and third fights of 2011 for Bute will be against world class SMW's, get the **** over it.
