Why is Bute regarded by most as no.1?

Kessler fought one and lost

Froch arguably beated one.... and lost to Kessler...who lost to one slick boxer

There is one thing that counts in boxing, STYLES MAKE FIGHTS

You can be slick, fast and athletic, but if you have no power to be respected, you won't go that fat either way

Bute is not the best in any area BUT he's the most complete

Biggest problem with Ward is he got no power what so ever

 

Name slick , fast , athletic world class fighters that Ward and Dirrell fought.Kessler has lost to the one's that he fought : Calzaghe , Ward

Bute and Ward would be a good fight but pls Bute would destroy Dirrel and Green, what evidence is there to say otherwise? Dirrell lost to Froch who many here claim is a zombified dinasour.

 

those were wards first thre fights? lol i meant in his career. wards first three pro opponents would decimate so called euro level fighters.

 

He's not regarded as best by most. More people have Ward up top.

That said, I've given my answer for having him at #1 (by a narrow margin at this point) about 20 times, and I don't want to repeat it again. The gist of it is that his overall recent resume is the best, even though he doesn't have the best single win. If Ward beats Dirrell, he becomes #1 with a bullet.
