Why is Calzaghe considered a ducker?

Joe Calzaghe gets a real hard time on here. Why?

Calzaghe signed to fight Steve Collins. Steve Collins pulled out of the fight.

Benard Hopkins agreed to fight Joe in 2002. He then backed the next day. Hopkins admits this.

Jermain Tayor was offered $5m to fight Joe but ask for $10m.

Joe Calzaghe fought the best 168 fighter.
Joe Calzaghe then fought the best fighter at 175

How many fighters face the best in two divisions back-to-back? How many times has this happened?

He failed to meet with Glen Johnson even though he had twice signed a contract.

    That ducking stuff is bullocks!

In his prime, Joe Slappy never ducked a bum, once.

    Looky here;

    Jones fought Hopkins
    Hopkins fought Johnson
    and Calazaghe fought Woodard

What about this picture do you fail to understand?

    glen johnson doesnt beat them.

Calzaghe fought 7 super middleweight world champions, and tried to make fights happen with ottke, collins and taylor. Doesnt really look like a ducker.

i think people argue his record is weak rather than blame him for ducking.

I thought Jones Jr. was the name most trotted out to prove Calzaghe ducked? Even though RJJ was already at LHW by the time Calzaghe began his reign at SMW.

Joe would not have had trouble with Johnson. He would have made Johnson look like a plodder. Even Froch made Johnson look slow recently.
