Why is Canelo not getting more criticism for fighting Yildrim?

If I was GGG I'd say " Stuff your fight where they say Oscar sticks his kitchen utensils. I dont need you I dont need to lower myself to your level ."
GGG & family are made for life financially , he's looked after his $$$$. Why go through the robbery again. Canelo will only fight him in Vegas where as we all know Canelo is not allowed to lose a decision. REGARDLESS!!
Plus GGG can hold his head high knowing he has never had to rely on the State commission & Vegas boxing officials to get a win. He's never failed any test or been proven to have used illegal PEDS or even suspected of doing anything illegal. Canelo can not say that can he ??? Neither could Floyd. GGG has my respect the other two lost it a long time ago

Problem is who else is out there for GGG to fight that balances the risk and reward?

He's never wanted to move up, even if he does what big fights are there? and at middleweight there's only Charlo left really...

GGG Canelo 3 at SMW makes a lot of sense for both of them so they should just do it or if GGG is staying at MW he should just move on and become undisputed

Its a subscription. $100 a year. If Canelo fights three times a year you're only pay $33 dollars for the card. On top of that you get other good to decent cards throughout the year, including Ryan Garcia, Golovkin, Joshua, Saunders, Andrade, Haney, Munguia, Derevyanchenko, and a bunch of other guys.

So $33 a year, avoid the $75-100 PPV for Canelo, and we get to see those top talents fight as well. Not bad.

I really don't think you understand what I'm saying. There are plenty of other skilled prime guys he could have fought you just simply can't understand that Canelo chose these three opponents for good reasons. .. Look at the underlying context its pretty simple because that is the focus regardless of competition elsewhere. If you can't understand that Canelo chose three opponents with all the conditions/circumstances in places then you're simply reaching for excuses for him.

Ands it not picking holes, it's complete valid criticism. Guys like you that support this **** are ruining the "sport"

I really don't think you understand what you're saying. You're going on a cherry picking hissy fit like you're Canelo's ex-girlfriend. You arguing that Sergey Kovalev and Callum Smith, absolute monsters compared to Canelo, are safe fights is one of the dumbest arguments I've ever heard. Canelo Alvarez spent most of his career at Light Middleweight. The fact that he's taking on World Champs at 168 and 175 and beating them to a pulp is an unbelievable accomplishment. Canelo Alvarez has been kicking ass and taking names for years. He kicked GGG's ass when no one said he could, beat the Boogeyman, made GGG's fans turn into schoolgirls, then he moved up two more weight classes, sent Kovalev, one of the most feared LHWs in recent memory, into la la land, came back down gave Callum Smith a schooling and a beating.

World Champ after World Champ at weight class after weight class have been destroyed by Canelo Alvarez, and you have nothing better to do than cry about it, like a school girl? What this Light Middleweight has done at higher weights has been unlike anything we've ever seen in boxing. For a guy that comes from multiple weight classes below to flatten Kovalev like that at Light Heavyweight, past his prime or not, is an incredible achievement. He knocked Kovalev out clean. Anyone who knows anything about boxing has to be super impressed by that.

Losers make excuses, winners win. Canelo's a winner. GGG turned out to be a loser when he fought Canelo Alvarez. GGG didn't hold his head high when he ran back to his dressing room after being beaten to a pulp in the rematch when Max was trying to give the post fight interview. GGG was so ashamed of himself, he left the ring in disgrace. He couldn't even address his fans after he lost to Canelo. What a coward!

Because he's his mandatory, and instead of wasting one of his two dates that most fighters fight per year on it, he's simply added a third match to his schedule as a bonus? Which IMO is laudable., more fighters should do this, hopefully it starts a trend.

I like him fighting champions, and if he takes a tune up in between no shame in that.
