Canelo beat Cotto and Trout very clearly. Why are those fights even in the discussion? Canelo landed cleaner and harder in both fights while showing the better defense.

He's too good. It's the usual haters who won't give him any credit.

The judge who had it for Yildirim picked the right winner. I had Yildirim ahead by 3 points. Just watched it.

So would you call that a robbery?

The pbc A side fighter got it because he was the A side. I thought it was a robbery. If Yildirim got all the decisions win or lose because he is the so called face of boxing then it would be the identical situation as Canelo is now. Once they steal it from you, you cant get it back. Then you have smart alleck fans pretending that it is true. Then you have even Canelo saying things like, i went 24 rounds with him and beat him twice. Which is bs. All that being said, i dont think he is disrespected, he is rated #1 PFP, but he is no better than GGG.

He's clearly better than GGG now. Canelo has moved up in weight and is beating his opponents with ease while GGG has been struggling with similar or lesser caliber opponents.

And I would be surprised if many here would pick GGG to win a 3rd match.

Canelo is a smart fighter. After a lopsided loss to Mayweather, he adjusted. After a close fight with GGG, he adjusted.

I don't even need to see GGG-Canelo III. Canelo will not get any credit anyway when he wins. Canelo already has a greater resume than GGG. GGG didn't even want to fight Saunders whom I think has the style to beat him. Not saying Saunders wins but he was not a risk GGG wanted to take. GGG could have fought Ward too but didn't want to risk that neither. For someone so fearsome, he sure didn't want to get out of his comfort zone.

GGG is almost 39 years old now. A fair decision should have been given the first two times around, because who would win right now is kind of irrelevant ,one is much older. That being said, GGG has a far better chance than most to beat him even now. It mostly depends on whether GGG can make Banks kronk style work for him. GGG looked alot better in his last bout but Szeremeta was a easy test. A better measuring test would be how he would look vs Derevyanchenko in a rematch but that aint happening. I would definitely favor Canelo now based on current performances but i still think GGG has a good chance especially if GGG can land power shots that Canelo is not expecting.
