How do people fall for this PBC propaganga every time? Crawford is ducking Spence. Joshua is ducking Wilder. Canelo is ducking Benavidez. Were Spence, Wilder and Benavidez ever the one’s heavily scrutinized as the ducks? It took till Spence and Wilder got exposed for people to say it like it is, and even now some will deny it.

It’s overwhelmingly always one way because we have a company with no integrity who just sends out fake information to any idiot/shill who will perpetuate it like Dan Rafael and note there is never a source. It’s not Ellerbe said this, Decubas said that, there is never a source like with their PPV number’s. For DAZN we can hear it from Hearns or DAZN Exec’s themselves, TR from Arum or Duboef, from PBC it’s no source or the source is a journalist, a youtube channel, a twitter post, and so they can always say they never said that when they get exposed like when Stephen Espinoza directly contradicted the bullsht PPV number’s the Fatman and B-scene (where even the writers omitted their names) spread for Davis-Hector.

Yet people continue to fall for this. Like it makes any business sense to have a contract where a guy can just walk away when he doesn’t want to fight who you want him to fight after signing a 3 fight deal and having already paid him millions, lol.

“Ok, you’ve signed a 3 fight deal. First two are Jermell and Jermall, the 3rd will be up to both parties agreeing.”
    “Ok.”
“Right, here’s 35mil for the first fight, next we have you in contract to fight Jermall, here’s the 35mil and we’d like you to fight Benavidez afterwards.”
“I don’t want to fight Benavidez.”
“Benavidez is all we have though. We’re trying to run a business.”
“But I don’t want to fight Benavidez”
“Ok then. I guess we’re done. Damn it, knew we should’ve included some liability clauses.”
“Ok. Bye. Thanks for the 35mil.”

Just fight your mandatory that everyone is asking you to fight and we don't have to read these long ass dissertations on message boards.

Your beef is with the PBC. Seeing as their fighter’s never fight who the people want.

Because he has nowhere else to go if he loses. He’s out of weak belt holders he can pick off to artificially enhance his legacy.

My beef is with the WBC, who engaged in corrupt practices to protect Canelo from fighting his mandatory. Canelo was, of course, complicit in this and used his position to publicly and shamelessly duck Benavidez.

    **** them both.

I don’t understand why he will not fight Davis as I strongly feel he would beat him anyways

Because Benavidez can deliver the type of ass beating that wrecks your aura. A la Cotto vs Concreto.

True, the WBC have a terrible record for enforcing their mandatories.

Adonis Stevenson went how many years without a WBC mandatory defence? 4 years I think, they ordered he fight Bellew then changed their minds and allowed a voluntary if my memory serves me correctly against Cloud.

Wilder too, had the WBC title for about 4.5 years and made 2 mandatory defences against Stiverne and Breazeale. Then of course there was the Povetkin debacle. Odd that the two times Povetkin failed a doping test, he was denied a title shot at Wilder's WBC belt and then also Stiverne for the interim WBC title which would of earned him a shot at Wilder. Yet when Stiverne failed a doping test for the Povetkin fight he was just fined $75K and told the fight could go on and when Ortiz failed a doping test, he too was told the fight could go on.

Then of course there was the Whyte debacle, how long was Whyte ranked number with the WBC and yet never named mandatory, very odd. Nothing Hearn or Whyte could do could get the WBC to do anything, numerous petitions to the WBC, appeals, even went to litigation which then went to arbitration and still couldn't get the WBC to name a mandatory.

Jermall Charlo went what almost 2.5 years without even having a fight let alone facing a mandatory. Will he ever fight his mandatory Carlos Adames?

Ironic that all these fighters are PBC fighters, makes one think they might have some influence with the WBC, which makes me wonder why the WBC hasn't ordered Canelo's mandatory and even u-turned and reversed their decision to enforce the mandatory when Benavidez signed for Gvozdyk. I mean surely if PBC does have some influence over the WBC they would have asked them to enforce the mandatory and even if they don't have any influence then at least petition the WBC to enforce the mandatory like many other fighters and promoters have done over the years with all the other sanctioning bodies. It's almost as if PBC don't want the mandatory enforced....no that can't be right, PBC would never avoid or delay a fight on purpose would they, lol.

That was a good, informative post which did everything but explain why Canelo himself is not pushing for this fight.
