That boy can really box and has some heavy, heavy hands. Every head to head match up I see with him in it, he loses unanimously in most people's opinion.
For me, and I suspect for many others, it is: - how slow his footwork is; - the memory of how Floyd completely schooled him.
Although floyd schools most fighters, did canelo even land more than 10punches lol he has problem with stick and movers
Yeah I know what you mean,I think he's improving with each fight and came out of the blocks real quick against Smith albeit a Taylor made opponent. Personally I don't think he lost to Lara though it could of been a draw and I thought he beat Trout but in my opinion it's the blatantly corrupt judging he has on his side that a lot of folk hate, mainly because he doesn't need it,anyone thinks otherwise need only see the Mayweather draw from one judge in the most one sided loss ever and the scorecards over Amir Khan who out boxed Canelo for four straight rounds and yet again Canelo was shown up on corrupt Judges cards. I guess it's wrong to blame Canelo for Corrupt judges as he's only a boxer but IMO it's that and his massive weight advantage on his opponents that wind folk up. Personally I enjoy watching him in the ring.
I think he leaves a bad taste in people's mouth. Wins belts at 160, but wants every fight at 154 Isn't a genuine 154'er but still need to be the bigger man Won't face GGG Saying that, he looked awesome against Cotto. He showed some fantastic defensive skills. And when he kayo's someone, HE KAYOES THEM HARD!
Lots of people don't like extreme weight cutters which I think is a legit grievance to have with Canelo. I felt the same way about Gatti at the time.
Who underrates him? He's a good boxer with respectable power. Most people think he could beat anyone from 154-160lb not named Golovkin. That's not underrating him - it's rating him accurately.
He might have heavy hands most fat piggy types do Pollo's problem is his total lack of cojones Cluck Cluck !!!
