Why is Canelo so underrated?

    A lot of people consider him to be a weight bully
    He dropped the belt instead of fighting GGG after saying that he would fight him next
    He claimed that he isn't a real 160 lbs fighter and then fought at 154 and immediately afterwards said he's too big for 154
    Corrupt judging
    Awful loss to Mayweather that one judge ruled a draw

    I can't see why you believe he's underrated. He might be disrespected due to his antics, but not underrated at all in my opinion.

    If people favor top MW's over him, might be due to him never having fought at full MW, and having had all kinds of trouble against the top LMW's.

    I don't think so. I saw a Canelo vs Rubin Carter thread yesterday and most people had Carter winning. I think its ridiculous to dismiss him that easily.

    Well that's ridiculous. That only happens because there's a backlash against him, with people frustrated he isn't fighting GGG. Most sensible people acknowledge he's a very good fighter who will only lose to the very best.

    Canelo is good and getting better. His loss to Floyd is not something that I weigh heavily because he was very green and he was drained as hell. Canelo did lose to Lara, though. And I had the Trout fight a draw.

    If anyone is overrated right now it's GG claims to be a "monster " and hasn't beat any top elite fighter! Claims to be the "most feared fighter " Yet turns down catch weight fight and 10 million $

    Canelo is a solid fighter.

    The dude got skills, Yes.

    Unfortunately he has flaws... But so does every other fighter.

    So we cant hold that against him.

    Personally the thing that bothers me is the favortism when it comes to the judges.

    Dela Hoyas protection of the young man in other words.

    No one is ever going to win a decision against him thanks to Oscar.

    The only way to beat the Cash Cow is to KHTFO.

    He lost to Floyd so the usual suspects threw him under the bus. Anyone who loses to Floyd is a bum to them.
