Why is Carl Froch in the top 10 p4p?

froch has never sniffed my p4p top whatever list.
my list would have to be top 100 or 150 for him to even come close.
i just dont see anything special about him, never have never will. his greatest asset per his fans is his chin and toughness which isnt even that great from what ive seen.

could be considered great if you'r comparing his chin to like a groves or broner jones jr type chins but i seen him really hurt too many times for his chin to be anything to talk about

 

Groves is better than Froch,but have gloves will fight anywhere,Froch should be in the top 10 p4p.

Because he's a WARRIOR! I'll never get the hype around this guy, he's horrible to watch and he's had too many come from behind victories, life and death struggles, and just plain undeserved wins for my liking. His only dominant performances against decent comp that I can recall are Abraham and Bute, that's it.

Who gives a **** if he's rarely dominant. It's about winning, not dominating. He's fought at a high level, never gives up, and usually finds a way to win.

 

I don't know how they come up with these lists. I wouldn't put him in my top 10. He'd probably be in my top 20 though.

 

The p4p list should be reserved for those capable of putting in convincing performances against credible opposition on a consistent basis, not those who find a way to win.

If you have to rely on your opponent gassing, corrupt judging and bad stoppages to find a path to victory sorry you don't belong on that list.

 

I agree, and by that logic neither Sergio Martinez nor Manny Pacquiao belong on that list anymore either.

 

i dont know what makes you think froch is all that good. i think every single true boxing fan could name over 100 better p4p fighters than froch.

most over rated modern day fighter i know of
