Why is Carl Froch in the top 10 p4p?

    there's merit in what you say and the men you list are better boxers than froch, but froch beats better boxers.

    He does but not always, and let's not forget that those guys also beat tough warriors with less technical ability than themselves.

    but not as tough as froch... we could go in circles. he definitely has carved out pretty much as good a career as he could, while having a harder recent run than most at the top. even a rematch victory against ward, while unlikely, is not outside the realms of possibility, especially with a ref with a more euro-centric interpretation of the rules. the fact that he's done so much better than you'd think he should makes him so hard to place.

    I can see Froch at the 18-20 spots. I'll support that. The guy isn't an easy night for anyone not named Ward.

    I also wouldn't have him top 10 but I'm not going to ***** about someone who does.

    Slyk just can't handle British fighters receiving any praise. If mayweather was British he would have made the same thread just with a different name in the title.
