i ain't convinced by lb4lb lists, but if you are, they shouldn't be based on aesthetics. froch is awkward with a great chin and power, ridiculous recovery (most would've slept through his last fight after that right from gg), elite stamina and, given the chance, he's a lethal finisher. this means he wins fights, and, all else being equal, would probably be 1 of the top 10 worldwide. it ain't pretty, but it is exciting and it works.

Oh my ****ing god, I was using sarcasm to prove how stupid using resume only as criteria for putting someone in the p4p list. Are you really that stupid that you took my post literally? :patsch

It's not just aesthetics with Froch though. He' shown many times how beatable he is, in his losses and in many of his wins. Also the fact that he has never been the best in his division. People put Froch in there based on resume, fair enough, but isn't it equally logical to put people in the list if they are the best in their division? There are more than 10 divisions so that would rule Froch out of the top 10. You could also put people in there based on their ability to be effective in multiple weight divisions...

It's all very subjective. If people put Froch in their top 10 that's fine but it's also very understandable to not have him in there imo.

Are you getting worked up?? If that was sarcasm it was a poor effort... Butthurt people like yourself tend to have difficulties drawing a line between sarcasm and true feelings :yep

    ya ya ay,
coming up with a list of 100's of active fighters i see ss p4p better thab froch is useless because most of you would argue every single one and i bet there would be 50-75 of them the majority wont even reallt know.

all i know is he "best" atrributes, per his fans is a wicked over rated chin and even more over rated power. i just never had seen him as any kind of elite fighter. elite and great is thrown around here like its normal.

WTF truly elite fighters are rare and there might be 10 truly elite fighters in any given decade and he aint close to one of them for me. obviously every pro fighter in an elite fighter but we compare them to all other pro fighters..

so elites are the pro fighters levels above on their comp and froch is not close for me

    Semantics.

And also, overrated chin? come off it, I don't even particularly like him but his chin is absolute granite.

You didn't make a point at all. Boone lost all those fights bar 1. They don't boost his Résumé, they work against it.

    Froch didn't.

You need to go and learn what both sarcasm and résumés are son.

I still have him in my top 10 P4P. Solid resume with good wins he came in 2nd in the super 6 beat Kessler in the rematch Bute and Groves.

to me froch is number 1 p4p
    actually entertains the fight fans
keeps his hands low like a boss
    never made the chicken dance
comes back stronger from a loss
made it his mission to fight the best in the division

the intense training began When Carl Froch was just a young lad
apart from the cycling and runs he began hardening his face by tapping his nose and chin
with a small tea spoon , sometimes for half an hour and sometimes longer 1 or 2 hours straight, depending on what other chores he had to do that day.
(He was always very determined in life to do great things)
Along the years the tapping on the nose became harder and the tea spoon got replaced with a slightly bigger tea spoon
, and then later into a regular spoon and then a big spoon ... by the time Carl Froch had aged into a man the spoon had become a frying pan
..the face had become indestructable! and he did not require many seconds to shrug of the effect of the numerous blows he absorbed in sparring

one day as we all know he joined up with robert McCracken who saw the great potential in Carl
and the rest is history... all hail Carl Froch the King of England and P4P number 1 :ldevil:guitar
