C'mon mate I'm the most realistic Tyson fan on here and I'm not saying Tyson didn't possess these qualities..they just werent at the forefront thats all mate:good Have you watched Diaconu before commenting?? I doubt it as the call on defense is easy for anyone with at least one good eye mate....timing is also relative to defense not just offense..Cheers

It's because of his physique and relative small size for a HW, which his mates in the gym thought was similar to Tyson, and hence he was dubbed 'The White Tyson'

You can make your own mind up on whether he actually looks anything like Tyson

It is just a name he has had since he was amateur, He is a hard hitting fairly short white fighter, who is quite effective on a good day.. In fact he is BIG Tyson fan who idolises the man.. It has a lot to do with that really..

Tyson's a hard name to live up to in boxing.
i think it's a stupid nickname but if it's because Ruslan idolizes Mike then it's tolerable I guess.

Does some one pay you to shill Diaconu? Rico Hoye is a **** fighter with a bad chin, Diaconu has 15 KO's in 24 wins.. that is not an outstanding KO%.

Where the **** do you ******s come from.. we can't have a thread without someone bringing up some **** about Calzaghe, Pascal, Bute, Diaconu, or Pacman... I swear.

Chagaev throws a good powerful hook, he shows some head movement and is similiar stature as Tyson. I still think Chagaev is good, and will show more talent in his next fight, everyone has a bad night, Wlad had 3 of them.

chagaev has a great left but he was exposed as a one-dimensional fighter who lacks a right hand and jab. all one has to do is move to the left to neutralize his offense. i have no interest to see wlad fight him anymore other than to rip his wba trinketaway.

chagaev's stock took a big plunge last night. he let a handpicked opponent take him the distance in a sloppy and uninspired performance. people can say skelton has an ugly style but chagaev had chances to take him out but didn't let his hands go enough. he let skelton spoil his offense.

As for wlad have 3 bad fights, how many have been recent? you're only as good as your last fight and wlad is a much more polished fighter nowadays. Punisher, how would u see a chagaev-wlad fight going?

btw, chagaev's monikar is the most ridiculous alias i have ever heard of. mike tyson is rolling over in his grave.

As far as Tyson rolling in his grave, yes, Tyson actually asked Chagaev to ditch his nickname before the Sultan fight, supposedly Tyson wanted to be in the corner for Sultan that night.

I like Chagaev, he has pretty good overall skills, I think like Sam Peter, was under trained and not motivated for his fight against Skelton. I see Chagaev giving Wlad some trouble in the ring, Chagaev will prove to Wlad early on that it will take more than a couple straight rights to put him down. I see Chagaev either knocking Wlad out within the first 3 rounds or Chagaev getting knocked out in the 8th, because of Wlads glass chin you will always have a chance of blitzing him early, and creating him to panic and possible self destruct, or at least make him drain his energy a bit and finish him off later in the fight.

Tyson's rolling in his grave? Why did he die?
I know his boxing career did but I do believe he's still alive and kicking smoking crack in between his "Muslim Prayers".

    :yep
i dont understand how u see chagaev knocking him out in three rounds. how can he get to the chin? if he won't walk down skelton who basically bullied the white tyson around the ring for 9 rounds, u think he's going to pressure klit. he's got no jab or right. klit just moves to his left and jabs his face off til the cumulative damage stops him in 7.

explain the scenario of how chagaev stops wlad early :yep

There is no real comparison other than Chagaev, I think, idolised Mike to an extent.
