Look at the B##### Scene poll on the left side.
What are the boxing fans thinking.
Can some1 give me a good reason for the results ?

I'm somehow disappointed. How do the boxing fans could hope this big fights to happen when they're not wanted more then 2 mexicans fighting at middleweight. FFs that fight will crown the king of one of the best divisions. One of the possible Top5 P4P fighter, and still they prefer a fight against a middleweight prospect and a paper champ?

Until reading this very post about the poll I never would have imagined that anyone would rather see Chavez-Alvarez than Bute-Ward.

I'd like to see both in 2011 (or 2012) but Bute-Ward is like top five on my wishlist...Chavez-Alvarez is maybe top 20.

Ridiculous to be honest Ward-Bute is clearly the more significant fight. Not saying Chavez Jr-Alverez isn't a good one though.

Rather see Alvarez v Berto and Chavez v Pirog than the two Mexicans meeting. Bute v Ward or Froch is going to have to wait until 2012.

maybe they want to see Chavez Jr get the **** beat out of him by Alvarez? And then let that lead into a good SMW fight.

Most of them are in awe before Junior's father. They wouldn't think of that.

Hm. I know a lot of people think Jr is milking his father's name but isn't trying nearly as hard to actually live up to it. I don't know how widespread that feeling is in Mexico though.
