why is cherry picking wrong for a pro fighter?

It's not about medals and trophies, as an amateur. It's about makin' the most money, incurring the least damage, 'n getting out so ya don't need an aid or seeing eye dog at 50.

It's not the Roman Coliseum where jaded audiences wanted to see gladiators against lions 'n tigers. The only thing a fighter owes fans is his best.

    In others words...health come first:lol:

    Like this

Floyd was supposed to come out of hiding to make easy money picking on little midget PAC. It turned out be running, ducking, dodging, he even went as far as calling himself a coward. He got so paranoided that one day he would says he only wanted the best which was PAC and the next day he would say never said that. And all that **** was all caught on camera too:lol::patsch.

..when your name is Juan Manuel Marquez and you choose to fight Likar "Taxi Driver" Ramos. Yeah, all of them do it. At least others are picking rated or champion fighters.

JMM owes you nothing. Judge the fight, period. Floyd Patterson fought Pete Radamacher, who never fought a pro fight, for the heavyweight title. The media and the fans were incensed. Floyd felt bad all the way to the bank.

John, you make far too much sense and are far to wise for the General Forum. Thank goodness for the snctuary and (occasional sanity) of the Classics.
