think? what is the main difference between the resume of calderon and john?

john beat JMM yet nobody even put john in their top 20...

in my case, i make my p4p list with a lot of premium on overall ability, something which i think john had not shown throughout his career.

taking accomplishment and ability with equal weight, he had never been top 20

honestly bro, the reply above has nothing to do with your claim of prejudice against asian fighters. nobody put john in their top 20 after his fight with jmm? jmm was as john is now, a largely unknown quantity.

He's fought more title fights outside of Indonesia more than Bernard Hopkins, Chad Dawson, Jermain Taylor, Roy Jones and Kelly Pavlik have fought outside of the US combined.

Anyway, the reason he's not ranked is because the JMM fanboys have turned it into gospel that John got a hometown decision, even though it's not true, because most Americans have never seen the other top opponents he's faced, and because he's never looked completely dominant against a top opponent.

im just joking there...don't take it seriously...what i mean is that the media is giving fights in asia less exposure

my question to you is, why is calderon is 15 places ahead than john in their p4p rankings...

i have posted my answer...what's yours

It's a stretch to argue that there are 20 fighters with a better resume, with a win over the #2 P4P fighter, 4 other wins against former beltholders and no losses.

IMO, if you think he has a bad resume, you're ignorant. I realize not a lot of the names are recognizable, but there are still a lot of good fighters on his resume, and he's fought several of them on the other fighter's home turf.

that's it..p4p is not just plainly resume/accomplishment...equally important is overall ability...that's why lopez should be in the top 15

    because he is asian.
and i dont really care where he is on other peoples p4p list.
does it diminish his abilities the further down the list he goes?
if jmm were p4p #5 would he have lost to diaz?
    come on...

Because he only was able to draw with the contender level Juarez. The draw was fair. Most of you all have no clue how to score a fight.

...on another note, if Joe and Pavlik got into the top 10 P4P with there resumes, or even ****in Caballero, theres no real reason why John shouldn't be there
