Clottey was a legit on paper opponent, but coming of a defeat. And if he wasn't coming off a defeat in your opinion, than Cotto was fresh off defeat against Pac the fight before...

The way he fought, unlike any other way in his career in terms of determination, heart, output, or effort, is awfully shady. And the lack of a trainer from visa issues until a cutman stepping in 3 weeks before the fight, as well as training in a shitty gym that didn't even have a shower shows that Top Rank, fixed or not, did everything in their power to give Clottey the worst possible chances.

 

The way everyone is talking about Clottey in this thread reminds me of the way people are treating Guerrero right now.
