Why is Clottey showing so much respect for Cotto...he lost the

Who do you guys think is going to be mentioned and called out after the fight either way?

What the **** do Peter and Ibeabuchi have to do with Clottey's culture? They're Nigerian. Clottey is from Ghana.

Ghanaians are one of the most humble, friendly people in the world in case you didn't know. I say that with all seriousness - I was there working for a month and there's a few people I know here that are from Ghana. Hell, the guy that drives me to the airport all the time is from Ghana and he the coolest mo****a I know ova here. :good

Just because someone talks **** in a dumb press conference, dont mean they gonna win the fight.

 

He'll let his fists get into Cotto's head, you don't worry about that.

 

It also could be a way to control things a bit by not instigating the anger of Cotto outside the ring that could lead to a more focussed fighter, if he went and did a lot of trash talking that could really fire some certain fighters up and make them fight that much harder.

There are certainly cases where you want to get into your opponents head to get him thrown off his A game, but perhaps mutual respect and an honestly nice guy equals no trash talking in this match up.

I'm not a fan of trash talking to build a fight up but rather the skills and techniques that different fighters have that makes me anticipate an outcome.

Clottey seems underrated to me and a strong fighter with a high work rate and good chin. Let's see if Cotto puts some body work into this and tests him out in that department, but as i recall Clottey has some nice work downstairs himself.

 

I hope that Clottey is coming in at 100%, no hand injuries this time and no excuses
