No.. I want Martinez to get big fights & money, which I think he deserves but Cotto's health is more important.
I wouldn't even bother to post on this because nobody near 150 wants/dares to fight him, except maybe Cotto.

  2. There seems to be this constant phenomenon where we take a fighter from #1 p4p!!!! to "shot" and "overrated" based on how they look in the last fight. Fans are so easily influenced... Kinda like Pac now because Marquez survived 12 rounds, suddenly Pac kinda sucks... I have to laugh. Mosley looked like **** right before he smashed Margarito to ****. it happens.

Martinez would steal Cotto's heart yet again and Cotto will run til he gets KO'd. Cotto has no confidence anymore, Martinez will go to war if need be and succeed, Cotto will not.

I dont consider Cotto the same level of Mayeather and Pacquiao. Cotto is the same level as faded Mosley, Margarito and Clottey. But not Mayweather and Pacquiao. And in terms of pound for pound terms he's not on the level of a Hopkins, Donaire, Ward, Martinez ect.

He's a level below at his peak. Maybe 2 levels below now.

He's a strap holder. The one legit opponent he fought at the weight class Yuri Foreman, was an injury.

He currently doesnt hold a victory over anyone in the top 10.

Because neither Arum nor Cotto can imagine it actually happening.

But who in their divisions do you consider on Pacquiao and Mayweather's level? When Cotto gives us two straight perfomances like Mosley's last three than we can agree. P4p is very subjective, and I agree Hopkins, Donaire and Martinez are easily ranked over him, but all of that can be shaked up within a couple of months (even though it doesn't take anything away from Cotto being an elite fighter).

Foreman was being outfought from the beggining of the fight, without the injury Cotto would've still won the fight, and that's not even worth arguing. Now answer me this, if Cotto is just a strap holder, who has the best claim for the championship at 154lbs and who are the elites in his division (that obviously are at least a level above him) that Cotto needs to fight to be considered elite?

Are you speaking top 10, top 20, top 30 when you say "one of the"?

Martinez would murder Cotto. He would stop him in the mid to late rounds.

Owned by who? When have you owned me? You make retaredly biased analyses in which you assess that nobody but Floyd Mayweather, and Ward, have any sort of skills or talent in boxing. Hence, nobody takes you seriously.

And if you remember correctly, I asked, "wasn't Ward always the favorite?" After the Kessler win (around when I started watching the tournament), anybody who didn't favor him was blind.

Again, I see no ownage. You own yourself daily by exaggerating other fighters' flaws, misconstruing their styles horribly (Marquez can't fight backwards, Chavez didn't have one of the best defenses on the inside, Vargas/Margarito/DLH have the same "Mexican style") and kissing Mayweather's ass with every post. Now stop embarrassing yourself and stick to making Mayweather tribute threads.

Are you saying Martinez has done more than Cotto?? Martinez being bigger than Cotto, gives him an advantage, the challenge is on Cotto because martinez is bigger, not because Martinez is better. And yes Cotto is one of the best of this generation, Cotto avenged his loss against Margarito unlike Sergio.:deal
