I think the weight is an issue. He looked **** before he moved to 147 and a little fragile, now he looks fragile at 147.

He was certainly a different fighter when he moved up from 140 so this might suit him at this stage of his career, it's not unusual to shift up 3-4 weight classes by the time you are 30 odd years old.

Maybe he is having trouble with the weight. He always has had weight issues. He has to diet a lot to make 147. Maybe he wants to not have to diet as much. The bad thing is he is too small for LMW.

He looked fragile at the weight Pac made him come in at. Kinda like DLH did in the Pac fight.....I'm looking forward to seeing Cotto at 154

He was probably encouraged by Top Rank to take the fight. He's damaged goods. If he wins, he's a viable fighter again. If he loses, then Foreman becomes a much more viable fighter. I see Cotto taking an "L" in this one.

I honestly think he's doing it, in part, to regain some of the confidence that he lost during the Margarito fight and polish his legacy before he retires. He has been beaten up pretty good in his last 3 fights(Mosley, Clottey, Pacquiao) and he doesn't want to retire on that note...:think

    1. In-house fights by Arum..
    2. 3rd weight division belt from the light-hitter champ
    3. Cotto just had hell of a fights one after another, and got squashed by Margo & Pac, this is more of a comeback fight for him...

yup he'll be back at 147, i don't see him winning against Pwill & Martinez..

Sounds good indeed! Back to 147 is a good move bc I wouldnt like watching him against Williams, Martinez or Angulo.
