Why is Cotto not smiling these days?

    Cotto actually has not eaten for 3 days to make 145. It's the pressure he has to go through to avoid penalty of $1M per pound and that one pound difference is taking its toll on his body.

    Sounds like utter bull - non-Filipino source or it never happened. Also there are enough recent photos in this thread to completely disprove your 'Cotto not smiling these days' theory, all of which you have chosen to conveniently ignore.

    Disregarding the above this thread reminded me of Rocky III when Rocky became the media darling and was distracted in training whilst the ultra serious Clubber Lang just went about the business of winning the fight both inside and outside of the ring.

    Bro, i really don't see why he needs to smile ! He's getting ready to battle...he should take it serious. Just becuz u see Manny smiling does mean he's relax buddy. They, know weather win or lose they have "WAR" on there hands.

    Those pics of Cotto shows he looked gaunt, his eyes were deep...not a good sign for Cotto. He looked weight drained.
    But I should shut up now because a weight drained Cotto is not good for imminent Pac's victory. :lol:

    I don't care one way or the other but he doesn't look weight drained at all to me - you are just used to seeing Manny's comically oversized head (kinda like a buffalo's). Besides, which one is it - over-weight and worried or weight-drained and weak? Make up your mind...

    Your just looking for anything to hold on to, whats wrong with you these days? it seems like you really really want Miguel to be weight drained, I think deep down you know the truth and its comming to you so fast its causing you to post threads regarding Cotto being weight drained.

    How about looking at it the way a fighter should look at it, Miguel is not going to allow anything to take his focus off of this fight, why warm up to Tecate bitches? whats that going to do for him, the man is looking to stamp his legecy this weekend, and he has nothing but Manny on his mind right now....
