thats exactly what it is .it just like Mosley is a much better fighter then Margo but Margo style is more dangers for cotto then Mosley. cotto was hurt by wide looping Punch's from Corly Margo throes those type of Punch's. cotto was hurt by upper cut by Torres Margo throes those type of Punch's. Margo is like Corly and Torres all in one but with a hell of a chin and hart and stamina . you but Margo style in the ring with cotto and cotto hase a though fight in his hand.

Margarito is a good solid fighter, doesn't have the best skills but his aggression will give Cotto's style trouble, it's not like Cotto is a master boxer. Cotto might not have the best chin but Margarito isn't exactly a one punch KO artist so this fight is going to be competitive, definitely won't miss this.

Not surprised with the Floyd bashing here at all, after all Floyd can't sleep at night knowing that Cotto and Margarito exist in the world of boxing. :patsch

Sadly, people like tliang don't realize how foolish they look by spreading dishonest propoganda. Everyone is going to have fighters that they like and dislike. However, it does no good to spout non sense in order to denigrate a fighter that you don't like. If you do that, then people won't take you seriously.

I'm a fan of both fighters and kind of agree with you here, will be rooting for Margarito BUT wondering how he'll handle the first class body punches Cotto will land. You have to remember that like Margarito, Cotto has some vicious punches not many can handle too.

Sadly I think we are in for a trend that will continue. Too many of these guys are new to the sport. Guys who didn't grow up during the pre-RJJ era. To them this sort of behavior is normal.

You know I have no quams with those who chose to decorate their opinions with a bit of sarcasim and colorful insults but when you start basing your analysis of a fight on the utter crap that was just posted...i have a problem with that. There's no sense of objectivity and rationale for every negative pointed out you can retort with about double or triple positive points. I guess the man looks at the glass as half empty instead of half full.

You seem a bit stuck in the ''fighter A beats fighter B because fighter B lost to fighter C who was beaten already by fighter A'' thing.

Stylewise Margarito can be very dangerous to Cotto because Cotto is used to people backing away from him, where Margarito will try to impose his offense on Cotto. Then again I also think Cotto's left hook to the body will do good against the tall Margarito. It really is an interesting clash of styles, and although I'm picking Cotto to win I wouldn't count Margarito out.

Because it makes our sport more interesting and intriguing to us if we hype fighters up and find and look for reasons why they can pose a challenge. Remember Baldomir, Gatti and definitely Judah were all hyped up as serious challenges to Mayweather (by some at least).

mosley is even a more danger to cotto than margo, but i think margo and mosley is even in terms of power with a sligth edge to mosley(lets not forget he KOed vargas who is bigger than a welterweight).

If margo-mosley happens today even if mosley is past his prime i'd still favor him to win

Margarito is such a dangerous right for Cotto because he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. He has 5 L's and is really hungry for stardom ...
He's a tall, long fighter w/ a very high workrate -- Great chin, stamina, and edurance ... he's a relentless body puncher and is a very good fighter on the inside. He's never been backed up to my knowledge and move forward constantly ...

He will keep punches in Cotto face and will never get discouraged ... as the fight goes on he gets stronger and more determined ... his work rate gradually increases ...
