Why is Daniel Jacobs fighting a much smaller man in Maciej Sulecki?

    Maciej Sulecki weighed in at just 153 for his last fight.

    Remember, Daniel Jacobs refused to abide by the same-day weigh-in limit against Gennady Golovkin, because he was too big.

    Sulecki is a skillful boxer, but he is feather-fisted and has no chance against the much bigger man.

    Yup. Just like how Joshua shouldn't be allowed to fight Takam or Povetkin because both are too small in comparison and are feather fisted in comparison to the monstrous Anthony Joshua.

    Can’t be smaller than Jacobs last opponent can he?
    Anyway if leads to Jacobs v Charlo next I’ll be buzzing with that.

    Sulecki is a good fighter, can't complain about size here because the bloke is not even that small.
    6ft1 with a decent enough build, this guy isn't a midget like Kell Brook thats for damn sure.

    Jarrett Hurd just weighed 153 and he would look like a monster next to Jacobs.

    Hugo is bigger than Danny Jacobs so how is Jacobs a massive middle weight? He's made the weight comfortably his whole career.

    I recall looking at his twig legs at the Golovkin weigh in and thinking he was going to be slept within 6 rounds

    Tank just won a world title last night against a fighter who was coming up in weight, off a loss, and off a 16 month layoff. And they downgraded the real champion Machado to a regular champ and the guy Machado won it from Jezreel Corrales had won it from long reigning champion Uchiyama who'd made 11 defences of it and Corrales beat the later x 2 as well. And what's more Machado beat a Corrales who came in 3lbs 1/4 over the limit.

    Machado had to pick himself up off the canvas in that fight too. Shocking treatment.
