Sounds like someone with a terminal illness coming to terms with it

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boj75h3urLU[/ame] handling it like a terminal patient cause he knows martinez is going to give him a near life experience in a few rounds.

Because he is NOT an Elite Fighter and knows he has No chance of winning?

Because he knows he'll be at peace when Martinez puts him out.

He has a HUGE fight that could bring bigger things. Why shouldn't he be happy.

I think it may have something to do with His brother died in a car smash, he took some time out then came back and was due a big fight with Matty Macklin only for a persistent hip injury to halt his plans. Plagued a bit by injury basically.

He cant be getting huge money though, and there were easier options around for a world title fight than Martinez, had he been able to keep winning. I think he took the fight because he believed he could win it. In Barker's mind at least hes not just there to make up the numbers.

He's a professional fighter getting his chance against a top £4£ fighter. I bet he's buzzing

Will he be in a happy place when he wakes up on the deck next week?
