why is Dave Allen constantly bashing AJ in ll his interview?

I think some fighters are just flat out annoyed that the AJ payday flew out the window with the Ruiz loss.

I do wonder as well whether some fighters felt AJ didnt show enough heart and quit too? I know some fans did

 

He's being asked the questions and he's answering them honestly.

 

He’s just giving his honest assessment.

 

Just building up the upcoming fight between them.

 

One thing with Dave is he's quite honest in interviews.

 

It wasn’t long ago, Dave was considering an offer from Warren to get bashed up by a 5-0 Dubois- now he is basically saying he can beat AJ.

What a world we live in.

He just appears to be giving an honest assessment to me. No harm in the lad.

 

He doesn’t like Joshua much. Apparently Joshua breaks lots of etiquette rules regarding sparring - ie treating opponents disrespectfully and not paying them for their time.

Allen has mentioned this on twitter a few times.

 

Joshua trains at the lottery-funded GB amateur set up. Does he pay anything for this or his living accommodation?

 

I don’t know the answer to that but Frank Warren recently described it as a ‘liberty’ that Joshua uses those tax funded facilities (this stopping GB amateurs having full use).

 

Dave has always been a bit off with Joshua and how he's not a fan of his but can respect what he's done. Seems to be a issue between the two. I suspect its more on Dave's side than Joshuas though!

 

You could tell, despite what he said on his interview, he was delighted that Joshua lost a couple of weeks ago.

There's clearly an issue, would be interesting to know what it stems from.
