Why is David Haye being a twat ?

Haye is the guy who thought that showing the Klit brothers with severed heads -- and gloating about it-- would be funny; as well as thinking that he's above apologising for making gang-**** jokes. Just from those two things...I conclude...yep...David Haye is an utter twat.

He dont want to shake Wlads hand he wants to take Wlads head off.

I dont mind that Haye is being a **** - its the fight game - not a nice person contest.

He needs that needle there - he wants to knock Klitschko out - and he dosent want to be all friendly and respectful.

Some fights are sportsman like contests.

Others have more needle - and this is one -

Haye is ungracious - but at least he is coming to fight - I dont care about him acting a nice guy to please people.

 

I agree Flint. He getting ready to fight, if this it what he feels him needs to to then fair enough. It won't be the first time in boxing.

I think sometimes people dislike the boxer first and then try to find problems with their actions rather than just judge the actions as they stand in the context of the sport (ie. nothing that out of the ordinary). just sayin'.....

So, Haye basically is a fraud, a bum, over-rated, arrogant and a disgrace. Yet he's beaten two top ten fighters in his four fights at heavy (excluding the Bonin fight, and I think he was top ten rated by some ****er), a decent journeyman in Barrett and now he's about to face one of the two best HWs in the world.

My, what a ****ing let down. So he wouldn't roll over like the other Klitschko opponents do. That stands him in good stead for what's coming. He's not playing nice, he's not being relaxed - he's coming for a fight.

Wlad's acting differently too. He want to rile Haye. Neither's getting what they want, neither's in control. It's all going to come down to what happens in the first round. I'll be watching it on HBO while I'm in the US.

 

I said after he beat Enzo he was looking to smash and grab the HW division and didn't fancy a long, drawn out campaign, thats why he was calling the Klits allsorts from the very start.

He got an unexpected break getting the WBA belt and the money that comes with defending it which has probably made him have more HW fights than he originally envisaged but I don't think he fancied working his way up the division the hard way.

That said, I'm not sure that having extra fights at HW would have improved his chances that much. He's either ready or he's not and having fought a few more of the lackluster competition around at heavyweight these days isn't going to prepare him any better for the problems that Wlad is going to present.
