Why is David Haye being a twat ?

He knows he is gonna beat him, cant wait.

 

Haye is very insecure. When he gets hit he will get hurt, they run like a rabbit, he will still get knocked out. Haye is training on track & field for running.................

 

Wlad is going down on July 2nd

 

Well he is more experienced than he was when he was about to challenge Wlad in 2009.

Since then he has fought

Valuev
Ruiz
Harrison

Valuev and Ruiz would have given him vital experience of fighting rugged operators who have been around world level for a while.

He beat them both - so he has got some potential.

The Harrison fight was a complete waste of time - and would not of benefited Hayes experience at all really - it only benefited his bank account.

So yes - Haye has 3 main obstacles to overcome to win this fight.

1.) - The smaller man - does he have the physcial tools to win this fight - will his chin and stamnia hold up - or will he just find Wlad naturally too big and strong and powerful ?

2.) Inexperience - only a handful of fights at heavyweight - and Wlad is a significant step up from Valuev and Ruiz.

3.) Inactivity - this is going to count against Haye now - he fought Ruiz in April 2010 - thats going to be over a year since his last proper fight - disregarding the Harrison farce - and now he is stepping into a mega fight like this.

Haye is a rightful underdog in this fight.

 

The fight reminds me somewhat of

Hamed V Barrera.

You got Haye - a loud mouth Brit - exciting - big knockout puncher - going into his acid test career defining fight.

You got Wlad - the foreigner - more basic straight forward fighter - but with better solid fundamentals - more experience - more on his C.V - the tools to get the job done - and just all around more solid operator.

And Wlad will probaly control the fight and win the fight fair and square - and Haye will probaly fade out of boxing after that.

Some similarities with your man Jack Dempsey, eh? Beat a freakshow, then fights has beens and names until finally fighting the best out there. But Jack Dempsey is awesome because he's in black and white.

To hype the fight. Unlikely to be a competetive or entertaining fight so tou have to build it up somehow

 

Whip up hype and try to unsettle Wlad. Plus he loves the sound of his own voice anyway!

He just seems to be doing the whole Ali-Liston approach, probably because he knows there's no damn way he can try to win a boxing match against Wlad. So, even if trying to get the big guy trying to take your head off is a massive risk, it's still a better option than trying to jab away. I wouldn't be surprised if he even does the whole 'hollaring like a madman' thing at the weigh-in.

I don't know how Wlad's taking it. Sometimes he seems full well to realise that Haye is needling him intentionally, other times he seems very over-emotive and suckered into it. Guess he's trying to play his cards close to his chest too, and is either putting on little emotive shows to pretend otherwise, or it occasionally cracks and he's not used to someone giving him so much lip.

I certainly can't think of a single Klitschko opponent that trash-talked him to this level. Some of it annoys me a bit, Wlad deserves respect, but I know why Haye's doing it.

 

I'd say it was all of the poll options as well, primarily to sell the fight I believe, secondly to shake Wlad up. I don't think he has any "fear" to get over, whether misguided or not I think he genuinely believes he will knock him out. Nobody really knows but Haye however will find out come July 2nd!
