without the KO Lee is not getting a decision. I hope to have to eat humble pie but instead I'll be munching on the bitter truth.

Chavez won't be tested will come in 20 lbs heavier, and unless Lee gets the KO (whic is possible) Chavez gets the decision. Might as well fight Sturm in Germany. Di Bella obviously doesn't give a sH*t. Lee must be desparate. MAybe Stewart believes he has the game plan to end it early!:-(

DiBella also represents Sergio Martinez. DiBella will actually benefit if Jr. beats Lee, as it sets up a Martinez/Chavez fight.

I think Lee stops Chavez jr i dont think he's all that special, and he's also andys best chance of getting a title other than Sturm. But i couldnt see Sturm ever taking that fight.

Maybe Lee pushed for it? Maybe Lee is utterly convinced of his own ability and thinks he can either A) Stop Jr - or - B) Win so clearly that even if he is robbed by the judges he'll still get big fights based off of common perception (sorta like Macklin did).

Huge opportunity for Lee, and I'm sure he'll be getting some serious $$ for the effort. If he wins, he's a major player at MW. If he loses, it'll likely be by robbery on points, or he'll get stopped by a guy fighting at 180lbs. Either way, an acceptable loss.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ thats why! Debella isnt stupid. He knows that if he cant get Sergio in with Chavez his best way to earn is to let Lee fight him.

Why is a non-mandatory challenger accepting the champs terms? Geez, this is a complete mystery to me.

Afaik the WBC are bringing in same day weigh-ins and will have same weight restrictions as the IBF (10Lbs over the weight class). This will make it harder for JCC jr. in theory!!

Lee has the beatings off him if he stays behind his powerful jab, increases his stamina & follows Manny's plan!!!

Win/win for DiBella if he can get a clause that says the winner has to fight Martinez.

Last I heard it was next day weigh-ins and 10% limit at that. I don't know the time schedule, but far from same day weigh in.

Ok lets suppose Lee wins. He gets to fight Sergio. If he loses but is robbed he still looks good. Basically as long as he isnt stopped he still has a future.
But, what about JccJr. Do top rank think its ok if he loses? I mean it will be his first loss - so do they feel it won't be a big deal as he is already a star in Mexico and certain states in US? MAybe they feel a rematch could be huge too / build it as a middleweight rivalry? What is the insurance factor for Top Rank?
