Why is DLH only a 2/1 favorite over Pacman?

    :think

Taylor is a near 6/1 favorite over Lacy and i would give Lacy a better shot of upsetting Taylor than Pacman over DLH. And odds are even for a DLH win via KO.

Am i missing something here? It would seem like a really good bet don't you think?

I was thinking the same thing.

Perhaps they are banking on Oscar fading in the late rounds as has been the case as of late, and Manny's propensity to push the fight.

Is there an incentive for DLH to lose to Pacman? Do the oddsmakers know something we don't? Didn't Golden Boy try to sign Pacman but he chose to go with Top Rank which would make him "enemies" with Golden Boy?

Heck, Abraham is a 11/1 favorite over Marquez. Something doesn't seem right.

You hit the nail on the head, bro. Oscar will tire out in the later rounds and Pacman will go for the kill.

I'm disappointed about the odds. I would have plunked a grand down on Pac for shits and giggles if the odds were 4 to 1.

I'm still picking him to pull off the upset but I won't be putting money on it at 2 to 1.

good thread. I don't get it. You would think DLH would be bet up to 4 to 1 at least. At least. Most experts take DLH too, most people in forums. Who are these bettors?

Heh - I think Pacman has 2-1 odds on beating DLH. I really don't think DLH is gonna walk all over him and crush him like so many people here think. I think Pacman is gonna give him all sorts of trouble and will likely beat him.

the blind money coming from pac fanatics is pushing the odds closer. imagine if 10 people bet on odlh in 4:1 odds in his favor. then 100 filipinos bet on pac. the oddsmakers will have to adjust the odds accordingly so that their pay out in the minute chance that pac wins won't totally destroy them. but if very few bet on pac, the odds will be more far apart
