Why is DLH only a 2/1 favorite over Pacman?

    i don't get this thread.

Taylor is paying out 1/5 and Oscar 1/4 while Lacy is paying out 3/1 and Pac 2/1.

Where are you getting your odds?

You can find DLH at near -200 at many online books

I might fly to Vegas to bet this one, rumor has it some still have him at -200 or even lower.

Interesting. DLH dropped from -210 to -200 a few days ago. Then he droped to -195 to -190 and now he's just a -185 favorite. The public is putting more money on Manny as the fight nears which is great for me because i'm planning on putting a lot on DLH.

Lacy had absolutely no chance against Taylor. None.

I bet on Taylor, even at 1/5.

Even though i think i should bet on Oscar, I can't bring myself to do it. Even at 4/11 which is the odds i'd be getting now

according to oddschecker, best odds on Oscar are -225.

    Good post.

To add to that I'd say because DLH can only one way - KO Manny before the 5th round, that is also in play. I don't see DLH knocking Manny out in the later rounds but a younger DLH I could. Same goes for winning the it on points, I see Manny the more likely of the two to do so. This and what clarlivint said above - DLH is getting older, slower and less active than Manny, this is why IMO anyway Oscar is a 2/1 favorite.

2/1 ... are you sure you are looking at the boxing odds... or is that the weight ratio? :)

If you don't wanna lose your hard earned money, don't bet. Unless you're a millionaire who doesn't care about losing. But if you wanna add more money then bet on PACMAN! :hat

I think the smart money -- weighing height, reach, punching power, and solid fundamentals -- to make Oscar a prohibitive favorite are missing the elephant in the arena that ultimately will spell victory for Pac: When you’re sittin’ on almost a BILLION net dollars, DLH won’t have the fire in his belly to do or die.

Right now he’s fulla **** ‘n’ vinegar in training, lovin’ his tight abs in the mirror, and soakin’ up the best Ivan Drago regime that money can buy. But when the hunger’s gone, this is no more than a white-collar conceit, an inflated smoker.

In the eleventh round, when it’s no longer about talent but blood sugar and desire, Pac will spark Oscar and finish him.

The odds for DLH has lowered even further, he is now only a -175 favorite. *******s are getting in their bets.
