Why is Dubois ahead of Joseph Parker in WBO rankings?

    Parker has fought -

    Joshua
    Whyte
    Ruiz
    Takam
    Hughie Fury

    He's beaten and proven himself above the likes of Takam and Hughie, he even beat another top 10 rival in Ruiz. On another night he would have beaten Whyte, he almost KO'd him.

    Parker has a far more impressive record.

    Dubois is a 23 year old and has fought no one. To put him up there above Parker to fight Usyk is irresponsible. I don't care how good Dubois has looked, he's fought no one in the top 20.... 30? He's a kid, he needs time.

    Are they deliberately trying to give Usyk the easiest possible route to Joshua?

    If Joshua vacates the belt, it should be Parker vs Usyk. We all know this is the fight that should happen.

    True, you could say that Parker hasn't really fought great fighters recently, but neither has Dubois.

    I seriously don't know who decides who's where in the rankings in these things. Dubois has fought no one to deserve being above everyone else in the rankings.

    Because they are the WBO rankings.

    I understand your upset, but there is no point in your upset. All ABC rankings are mad as ****.

    I think you have to take into account that Dubois 'looks the part'. So considering that, it made sense to give him a high ranking. Parker doesn't look the part more than Dubois, so I don't see why he should be above him.

    Let's try to call him Daniel, though, as it softens his image and Anglicises him for the English market. Not quite as good as AJ or ''Joshie'', but it's still good. Hopefully one day we can transition to ''Danny'' or ''Dan'', perhaps even Danny D for a bit of a nickname.

    Who cares how it looks? Should that matter over who's actually proven?

    Parker is proven, Dubois isn;t.

    Lets be honest the rankings barley mean a thing anyway.

    I have issues with these ABC rankings sneaking bum into 15th place so the champ can have an easier fight but im not against them bumping up guys who look too good for the lower levels.

    He's promoted by Frank Warren. The WBO is a Warren/Arum organization. The WBC is a Haymon organization.
