Why is Eddie Chambers fighting an opponent who is 5-39-4 with 0 KOs?

What happened with the hard hitting Ian Lewison? This is ridiculous.

 

Lewison pulled out and they couldn't find a replacement easily who wanted to step in. Another confidence builder for Chambers.

 

Because he's making a come-back and looking to stay active. Nothing surprising or new here.

 

Many cheap opponents with winning records could be found at last minute in Europe

 

Should draft audley in so audley can get a tune up in before fighting AJ

 

He wants some rounds in to get used to his new diet and training regime before stepping up, he feels he stepped up too soon in his "first" career

these guys are usually very durable, "sometimes the more they've lost, the tougher they are"

 

Pathetic waste of time.
Ok to fight bums at the start of a career to pad a record. But for a fighter like chambers who has climbed the tree and failed at the top level there is no excuse to waste time with a guy with a record like that.

Apparently Chambers needed a real confidence booster, but please...
If his confidence was that low maybe it's time to retire.

 

No excuse for this one. What a terrible opponent.
