Floyd, Pacman, Klitchko's, BHop, Calzaghe, Ward, Rigo, Broner, Bradley, Khan, etc... Every fighter seems to get criticized for them being boring, overrated, fights at home, accused of PEDs, cherry picking, weak opposition and more. Is there any perfect fighter who doesn't deal with being criticized?
I think this is the only sport where no one in the last 30 years escapes from be criticized for one thing or the other.
its also the one sport which takes the most commitment, strength of mind, inspiration and fitness. its fat nerds who troll the boxers, like me. but theirs many worse, who havent even ran before in their lifes let alone stepped in the ring.
SRR ducked Burley Greb is overrated, no camera footage to prove what his nut huggers claim Hagler picked on & lost to smaller guys Deontay Wilder sucks he picks on bums Joe Louis sucks picked on smaller guys Leonard lost to a crude Lightweight Holy was on roids and lost every penny Valero died before being exposed Pryor was on coke in his greatest fight Margarito handwrap gave Cotto his first L Paulie Williams sucks he lost to Quintanta It never ends :| :|
All boxers have limitations, the way I see it, if I like their style and grit, I like the fighter. Not sure why people feel the need to point out fault in a fighter and take that to say he can't beat this guy or never would've beat that guy. Why people just can't point out the exciting match ups and be happy when they happen is beyond me. Only thing I can think of is that were wrong to way wrong in their early assessment and keep pointing out their faults to try and cover up they were wrong about them...people hate being wrong.
Playstationing, ignorant, impotent wank-boys. Boxing seems to magnetize these tw@ts, can't work out quite why.... Maybe something to do with the machismo of fighting and the desperation of the weak minded to be associated with it. So tired of these numpties...... #letscleanup
'Playstationing'? Way to brand one group of console owners - kind of like criticizing boxers, non? Also, you added a hash-tag to a forum post you Twitteriing, mobile phone addicted sub-human (see how easy it is). #mootpoint
This is exactly what I have been thinking. Every boxer gets criticized for something. When you choose your next opponent you are ducking all others. If you like to brawl you are KO waiting to happen. If you are more like a counter puncher you are boring. It seems that boxers are not appreciated anymore like they still were some 20 years ago.
in one word HATERS floyd haters pacman haters broner haters haters haters bradely haters klitschko haters HATERS HATERS HATERS HATERS :-(
It doesn't help that many people have an obsession with loses on a fighters record then use that as a starting point "he lost to him who was beaten by a bum" criticism is good but goes why over the top sometimes (especially on this site)
