I know he got koed twice, but damn I belive he will be motivated enough to fight Calzaghe thats a huge fight so why wouldn't he. He never lost his speed and still seems to be a good counter puncher

He throws less punches then Hopkins nowadays and spends 3/4 of the round lying on the ropes. It's a slap point scoring dream for Calzaghe.

I think he can still beat Calslappy but his time has passed.

seriously if calzaghe wins(as he will at this point in time), his nuthuggers would go crazy, i don't want to see threads floating around that even a prime jones loses to calzaghe. They'll even mentioned his last 3 wins like hanshaw, trinidad.:nut

You know its going to happen. Even with a split contentious decision, to 43 year old popkins, theyve got Joe down as koing Hopkins or wiping the flaw with him in his prime. If joe KO/TKO/UD winchester Jones god help us.:patsch

The Cal fan boys have Charles Brewer and Reid down as ATG's...think about what sort of euphoria a win over Roy Jones jr would be met with.

It was ment in a jokey manner, I'm sure they don't(that really would be taking it to far,) but the way they build up those opponents is not far off.

I like Calzaghe, but some fans just go way over the top when it come to praise. A win over a shot RJJ would just open the floodgates.

Having said that I'd still watch the fight with intrigue even though I know RJJ is shot to pieces.

I shouldnt, but I still couldnt help but want to see it!

I do feel at this point in time that it's an easy win for Joe though.

Jones layed on the ropes in the first Montell fight...and many other fights....while he was in his prime....he counters off the ropes nicely...

a slap scoring dream?...Jones is BIGGER, STRONGER, and has FASTER HANDS....
