Why is everyone hating on DLH-FMJ II ?

Because this has already been proven otherwise, and it's very easy to say others don't have a chance, but much more interesting to prove it in the ring.

Yeah I'm not excited about this fight...there could be better challenges for Money Mayweather, like Cotto or Williams. However, I think this is better than a fight like Cotto-Gomez.

 

i defintely wouldnt mind to see a rematch, although i think "Pretty Boy" will handle it quite easily... but i agree with Marauder1999, Cotto has the best skills to beat Mayweather right now.. He should be next.. not DLH

 

I feel if he is going to fight a 154lb fighter, he should fight Forrest. However, this isn't about competitiveness, it's about money. I won't knock fighters for going after money, but I don't like it when they do it continuously and ruin the competitive nature of the sport.

Bottom line for me is that there are better fights to be made even if they aren't other title holders.

 

Should be Floyd-Cotto.

That is the best fight to be made. But even without that, there are other ones that are still better than this one from a legacy and competitive standpoint.

you know whats funny the biggest complainers in all of this are the Hardcore FMJ haters, the same haters who said the fight was extremely close, even the same Hardcore haters who even said DLH was robbed

 

i'm neutral on Floyd... he doesn't bother me.. He won Floyd/DLH the first time and he'll do it again.. I would just rather see Cotto fight PBF.

 

I agree, but this fight isn't about intelligence, but about money. There are so many who actually believe the outcome will be different because Floyd Sr is training delay. I bet you'll end up watching just like everyone else, I didn't want to see this at first, but thank God i have foolish friends that are willing to bet on De La Hoya, its just means more money in my pocket. Don't get upset about this fight take advantage of foolish people like I am and get their money.

 

Is not hate, well maybe yes, the thing is that FM should be fighting top welters like Cotto or PW and instead goes to a rematch against a fighter who he already beat and is going to beat again. That's not the mainly problem the bigger problem is TIME, yes it plays an important factor in this cause fans will need to WAIT more so that the good fights will happen (vs Cotto or PW). And that will be in next year.
