I can't speak for the rest . . . I hate it because it's another rip off. It's not the fight that is suppose to happen and I already know the results.

Because DLH is no longer a top fighter at 147 or 154, he's old and he's obviously doing this for money, despite already having enough. I'd rather see Floyd fight Shane, but since Cotto beat him, that would seem like the more logical choice. A fight against Shane or Cotto would be much more exciting than seeing FMJ fight DLH again.

My immediate reaction to the thread question, and without reading any other replies here, I have several points:

These greedy, money-driven mofos are after another huge payday, like they don't have too much cash already.
They have no interest in making a decent fight for the fans.
The first fight was extremely boring. The second one will be just as bad.
Mayweather should be fighting Cotto and Williams next.

EDIT: And now I read the rest of the replies, it seems the rest of the world feels the same way as I do.

Warranted my ass. Mayweather dominated the first fight. He took a few rounds off, and lost those, but he only lost one round when he went with his normal output. Anything less than a 8-4 score for Mayweather is silly, and Mayweather won his rounds by much greater margins than DLH won his...

YEah, Arum MADE Floyd say he would sit out a year right? Arum is the reason Foyd and DLH are going to fight right? Arum promised them soo much money right?

You'll say anything to FOOL YOURSELF won't you. Kind of like how you lied about me picking Baldomir over Floyd? If you say it enough, you'll believe it right? :patsch

This fight is garbage, Oscar hasn't been relevant in years and Floyd already fought him.

This fight is worse than retirement for Floyd, theres at least valid reasons to retire, fighting this semi retired Oscar who is completely irrelevant in terms of fighting is insulting.

This shouldn't even be in the top 10 fights Floyd is considering.

Because out of all the people there is to fight for Mayweather, hes fighting this rematch... and i have no doubt he will win even better this time.

My desire to see him against cotto, mosley, and williams is so great that the fact that i have to wait forever just to see this rematch... and then a big ? to his future after that (im sure another big break)

that this pisses me off to no end... ive already seen this, it wasnt that great, and there are awsome matchups already to be made.

Oscar is a part time boxer. he comes out of retirement once every year or two for a big payday.

I don't feel insulted with the rematch, the Floyd Sr add or any other thing concerning these two - hatred is completely out of the question. I have stated so many times that these two fight in a Championship apart, the Superfights where they and a restricted number of fighters can get it on, and that's good... They can't make comments concerning fighters they are not about to compete with though - that would **** me off. There is a hot 147 pound division and there are a number of top fighters who want to compete for a unified Championship... FMJ and ODH can get it on between themselves in series like they do in the NBA finals but I don't want to hear about them winning wide UD in fantasy matches against other guys.

Why was Arum already planning Cotto's next fight before Floyd-Hatton happened?

    :patsch

Why was Cotto's manager stating they were looking for a big money fight with DLH rather than the meaningful fight with Floyd?

    :patsch

THat's what promoters do. THey line up SEVERAL potential fights and try to make the ones they can. This isn't something new Eze. Promoters do that.

 Probably for the EXACT SAME REASON Floyd took a rematch w/ DLH over any other meaningful fight. Excpet, it's BAD for Cotto to try a DLH fight apparently. Especially since Floyd put HIMSELF ON THE SHELF for a year.

It's funny how you think you have all the answers. All you do is see a finished outcome, and make the rest up in between.

I dont see anything wrong with Cotto going after DLH for money. I just dont see why you think its wrong that Floyd did. If Cotto went after money, then its perfectly fine for Floyd too.

And, I see Arum protecting his fighter from big hitters. Note the not so big punchers he has lined up for Cotto in the next year.

Because it will be a carbon copy of the first fight, and the more you have of one thing, the less you like it. I wont further explain just look up the law of diminishing marginal utility.

Are you that dense? Floyd ALREADY FOUGHT DLH. **** man, get a grip. :patsch

If that's how you see it, that's fine. Doesn't mean there's an ounce of truth to it at all.

But please, tell me all the soft punches you KNOW Arum alrady has planned for Cotto. Since ytou seem to know so much about Cotto and Arum's plans, fill us in.

And since I love proving you wrong, which isn't all that difficult, tell me which of these guys, past and potential future opponents of Cotto's were such weak hitter:

Is DLH such a soft hitter? You've acknowledged Arum wanting to put Cotto in w/ DLH.

Is Margarito such a soft puncher too? He's a possible next opponent.

Was Judah such a soft hitter? Is Mosley a weak puncher too? Is Carlos Quintana a weak puncher as well?

LIke I said, it';s easy proving you wriong Eze. And I don't have to make up lies to do it, you know, like you had to.
