Since you're so smart, tell me what this fights brings to the future of boxing? Does this fight make all boxers richer? Will it guarantee more boxers a TV spot? Will it give us more PPV's at a better price? OR will my HBO bill go down a bit?
Look, noone said you had to buy the fight, but all it could do is bring new fans to the sports, weather its a fight you find exciting or not.
I prefer considering them both retired, saves me the frustration of not seeing Floyd give a shot to someone else.
How is he avoiding Cintron? Is it simply because he's not fighting Cintron next? :huh Is Cintron Cotto's mandatory? You can't be serious with this 'avoiding' **** Eze. How many times has Floyd defended his ttitle against top WW's so far?
DLH's been fighting most of his life. He'll do what he knows copme fight time. I don't think who he has in his corner matters really.
Perfect world would have seen DLH fight Cotto in May... Winner fights Floyd in September... Instead we get DLH-Forbes and Cotto-Gomez... WTF? It's not a career-defining fight for certain, but with the TENS of millions of dollars their going to make, can you really blame them for it? I'll be watching it nonetheless...
Floyd is basically wasting a year just to get another big check. Personally, I thought Floyd wasted most of his time with easy bouts after fighting Castillo in the rematch. And now we get this.:-(
