I don't think you understood what I wrote. My point was that Marquez could get to 140, even 135 with far less damage done to his system than Pac due to their different body composition. It's an advantage, and a rather significant one, that would even the playing field for the older fighter. However, with the fight at 144, neither will be drained significantly, and that favors Pac due to higher muscle mass to begin with.

Seriously, re-read the post, i am not even sure which part you thought I got wrong :?

I can agree with that, but do you think their disparity in muscle mass is significant enough to cause a major difference in the outcome of the fight? If so, then surely that means JMM was competitive in the first two because Pacquiao was weight drained, right?

I'm fed up with this ****ing Pacturds. When Mayweather fought Marquez who was a fat old man, bloated up ghome they wouldnt let us hear the end of it. Now the Best fighter who has ever been born (yeahhh ****ing right) wants a piece of the fat old man they are saying how it such a tough fight. **** OFF. JMM is a legend of the sport but he is finished. at 144?? give me a ****ing break, hows is this a competitive fight? Pacturd Morons. Cant u see!?? Roach and his child are conning you, cant u see?! De La Hoya, Mosley, Margarito, Mosley ALL of them had been already violated fights before Pac got a hold of them. He is like one of the ****ing vultures who feeds on the man Lion's scraps. He is cheating the public.

How is 144 not a good weight for him if for the first 2 fights with Pac, that's what he weighed more or less?

Even if Pac did take the fight at 140, BOTH FIGHTERS WILL STILL BE THE SAME WEIGHT ON FIGHT NIGHT. What's the difference?

Pac is far more comfortable, move better, carried his body and power in this weight than JMM. That is why.

My mistake, I see your point now. Regardless, I would have to disagree. There will be no damage done to Pac's body getting to 140. Thats 8lbs fo water he would need to loose, which is nothing. JMM looses 10lbs all the time getting to LW and Pac use to loose 15lbs for his fights at SFW.

We can also point to the Hatton/DLH fight where Pac weighed in at 142/138...that wasnt muscle he was loosing, it was just water...hence why he still fought at 148 regardles. The weight has to come from somewhere, unless you are implying Pac went up from 138 to 148 of pure muscle within a day. Pac did not look at all drained in those fights. In fact, probably the best he has ever looked.

OK, lets confirm how much of an idiot you are.

    I weigh 150lbs.

A: I dehydrate down to 140lbs, weigh in at 140lbs, come back next day and fight at 150lbs.

B: I loose water weight and get down to 148lbs, weigh in at 148, come back next day at 150lbs.

In scenario B, I will infact be stronger, faster, and have more energy because I didnt dehydrate. I will not be more bloated either because my body composition is EXACTLY the same, its just playing with water.

    Now here is c,

C: I weight 150lbs, I add 10lbs of fat/muscle and now weigh 160lbs. I dehydrate and WEIGH in at 148lbs...wohooo, everyone thinks I bulked up now...come back the next day 160lbs BLOATED.

Do you see the difference? There is a difference between fight night weight and weigh in weight. Just because I weigh in at 140 vs 148, as long as Im fighting still at 150 on both occasions, my muscle mass/fat remains the same, I simply played with water. In scenario C, I actually put on mass, dehydrated as much as I can but this time I can only get down to 148 cos of the added weight, I rehydrate back and fight at 160.

JMM probably fought at 150 against Floyd hence why he looked bloated. He dont look bloated in his fights at LW cos he comes in at 145, nothing to do with his weigh in. If he weighs in at 144 and fights at 145, his body composition will look exactly the same as it does at LW, except in this instance, he never dehydrated himself.

That is what Pac is doing, not dehydrating himself.
