Styles do make fights, and how in the fk is he going to drop Floyd Mayweather where others failed? Are you even serious or are you trolling?
Im serious although i do see why this looks like trolling. Think about it. If you could train a fighter to beat Mayweather how would YOU fight him? out boxing him is near impossible. So you need a to fight with pressure and throwing punches at weird angles. Sure speed helps, but you need relentless pressure and a strong overhand right (which have been the punches that have wobbled him) Maidana possesses most of these attributes.
All fighters are a joke. Until they sign to fight Floyd. Then they are like the second coming of SRR. All fighters are green or past their best. Until they sign to fight Floyd. After they sign until the end of the fight they are the best they ever were or ever will be. After the fight they are damaged goods. Its something magic that happens between the time a fighter signs to fight Floyd and the time the fight ends. Maybe some ***** can come here and explain how that works.
I dont claim to be a '*****' but i think its because floyd makes them look average. I gave canelo a really good chance of beating him, he just came with the wrong gameplan. I think much like Calzaghes victory over hopkins, when floyd retires, his win over canelo will look better and better
Never go based on betting odds.....Look at Broner VS Maidana:think Floyd is the best at 147 to 154 IMO. I put PAC at an easy 2nd for current best 140 to 147:good Floyd will give Maidana a boxing lesson for sure folks but I expect Maidana to win 3 rds:smoke
Its just a bad fight. Maidana hasn't beaten anyone. Not one good win on his resume. Broner was exposed by Ponce and now that he eeked by a sh*t champion in Paulie somehow Maidana beating him is some miracle. The fact is, before that fight people thought that even an unimpressive Broner was going to clown him but now suddenly Maidanas win streak is awesome and he deserves it.
Neither Maidana or Broner can hack it at 147lbs, you'll see. Once Maidana gets chopped up by Floyd, it'll likely be Thurman-Maidana and Maidanas days will be over at 147lbs.
I think even Maidana's power is a little overrated. It is good power and it gets guys in trouble so he can win rounds, but he has trouble knocking guys out. I guess the thing is can he hurt Floyd enough to get Floyd to go in a shell, so Maidana can keep him defensive and losing rounds. I doubt it. Look what happened with Shane and Floyd?
