On ESPN's boxing homepage, every status update of Fat Dan is ripping on Golden Boy. Why is that overweight lard upset with Golden Boy? Did they put a limit on how many brownies Dan could eat at the post-fight press conferences?
He is pissed for gbp conspiring with the wbc to make khan "undisputed" in a few steps. He is actually right this time and its good that he is making some noise against corrupt sanctioning bodies.
He's trying to stick up for junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley who was wrongfully stripped of his title by the WBC who then conspired with Golden Boy to have Erik Morales fight for the "vacant" strap.
There's no doubt about that one, stripping Bradley was BS eventhough he pulled out of the Khan fight. They want Khan to be the man at 140 to help sell a potential Mayweather fight. Khan will fight the winner of Morales v Matthyse by the end of this year. Then move up to 147 to fight Kell Brook in the UK in early 2012, maybe 1 more fight at 147 and then they'll be wanting to fight Floyd (presuming that Floyd v Pacquiao still isn't happening, which is more than likely).
I'm glad at least SOMEONE is making a fuss about these shady moves the WBC is pulling. Why do boxing reporters seem so terrified to call a spade a spade? We should have more fat Dan's out there to weed out the bull**** the promoters and sanctioning bodies are feeding us. Meanwhile, we hardcores are just sitting back and letting them **** us over.
Rafael is on the money. Who cares that he's fat. So are a lot of heavyweights. It's not his job to be in shape.
I thought morales was fighting Lucas? Lucas could easily upset the applecart here. As could morales. I'd ****ing jizz if morales won his next 2 fights
