Why is floyd calle dfeather fisted and manny a power puncher and both have

Too many people get their knowledge off boxrec instead of actually watching fights.

 

Is this really that hard to comprehend?

i have a feeling floyd would of gatti'd margarito at 147. i could see floyd punishing him, but not doing the damage manny done, thats was cause he threw punches in bunches, floyd wouldnt of let combo's off early like manny did, manny fuked margs up, real talk.

to topic, speed = power to a certain degree, manny throws slightly faster then money, which is why i think people fear mannys power more then money.

 

Manny has a much better resume than floyd and usually stops the same fighters that floyd goes 12 rounds with if not stops them earlier than floyd does. Also people tend to think he has more power because of the way he has moved up the devisions and carried his power with him stopping bigger fighters along the way.

 

Theres no perfect way to compare power by watching their fights or comparing stats, but I think its much better to look at fights against common opponets than to look at both of their ko %'s

Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, Oscar, and Marquez would all probably say Manny hits harder

 

For years people have called mayweather feather fisted, just a propaganda tool issued by haters to discredit such a great champion.

That being said I believe p4p pac hits a lot harder than floyd.

I think manny hits "harder" but the timing and accuracy of Floyd's shots make them relatively close in terms of effectiveness.

 

I don't think he would have. Gatti could be hurt quite easily and wasn't nowhere as strong or as big as Marg; thus making him hesitent and a sitting duck for Floyd to do with him as he pleased. Marg wouldn't have presented him with the same scenario to do the same things. He wouldn't have been worried one bit about what would have been coming his way. He would have marched forward and throwing all night.

Floyd uses his legs and boxes to a safe UD. Wouldn't have a walk in the park, though.
