The man was walking down a guy with pure KO power, being outweighed by 14lbs! :patsch

He isn't even all that good anymore. This was far from Mayweather at his best. His legs are virtually gone.

...and he STILL taxed Ortiz's ass in every round like it was nothing. Imagine if this was a close to prime PBF? :scaredas:

While I'll agree with you in most fights Ortiz had his moments too, had a very good moment right before the spectacle. That's why it's such a shame this happened. Could Ortiz have changed things? -Who knows but he was able to catch Floyd several times with some serious power shots. This was the most game opponent Floyd's had in a while.

Agreed. But like you said he doesnt have to move. His upper body movement is still there though. The first punches of the fight was Floyd landing the right and rolling under Ortiz cross.

Yet when Pacquiao does it, he's beating cans.

Ortiz was doing a good job smothering Floyd before the headbutt. But his eye was already closing. All that smothering would have down is tired Ortiz out.

Pac and Floyd are on the same plane. Nobody else is close. But Pac has KO power. So its different. Floyd doesnt.

You're kidding right. Ortiz didn't do **** but throw a wild ass flurry. He was missing most of his shots, and Floyd was smiling at him and shaking his head. He knew he was having no effect and he ws getting tagged with right hands at will. Thats why he lost it and threw the headbutt. If he hadn't gotten KOed when he did, things would have gotten ugly over the next few rounds. Mayweather wasn't ****ing around. Ortiz was getting stopped tonight.

He was supposed to pot shot to an easy boring UD.

Most didn't think he'd beat the living dog **** out of Ortiz, and then knock him flat out.

Or there could have been a Mayweather knock down too. Ortiz had some good pop when he landed. Either way, the fight would have been really good. Ortiz would have gotten outboxed but there definately would have been more back and forth drama then we're used to seeing in a Floyd fight.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

The dude landed 26 punches the whole fight. Here, count how many of these shots land. He hits air, arms, and gloves.
