I've maintained for 5 years Cotto was one of the most overrated fighters in the sport. Go watch his fights against Ndou, Corley, Torres and Malignaggi. He was dropping mad rounds to C and B level opponents.

Floyd at 35 years old was throwing combos and busting up a fighter 10 years his younger.

It was a great night for Floyd fans.

Not as bad as Kats but he's wide open when you're talking abouit a fighter as good as PBF. The guy is short has short arms and will have to lunge in against PBF which is a horrible idea against a master counter-puncher. I truely believe PBF woule give Pac the boxing lesson of a the lifetime Pac's simply technically not in his class. He can't beat PBF he doesn't have it. Martinez is the guy who might be able to pull it off but not Pac he will be taken apart made to look amateurish and schooled.

Pimp , dont go down that route , Floyd had a good win , but do not make Ortiz out to be anything more than a lucky club fighter who is under the golden boy banner.

Cotto even now would be a greater threat than any of Floyds past 4 fights. Cotto was dismantled by the best fighter in the world and beaten up by the fighter Floyd avoided earlier in his career.

Cotto wouldnt come in on straight lines like Ortiz did and he also has a Jab.

Cotto was never a threat to Mayweather, but he is/was a very good fighter. Even Mayweather acknowledges and respects that.

"Very good fighter, overachieved and did some impressive things, should be proud.......just not on my level" pretty much sums up Mayweather's feelings on Cotto given the statements he's made about him.

Cotto would get beaten up against PBF. He has **** defense and busts up too easily. PBF would stop him in the late rounds the guy isn't that good and has never been that good. He got a lot of hype because people thought he was the next Tito but he has failed to live up to it.

I dont think it was a great night for Floyd fans , I am a Floyd fan and didnt like the finish , not Floyds fault , but not a good night.

On Cotto you dont beat close to prime Judah and Mosley if you are overated. At 140 he was clearly weight drained.

He has fought better fighters than Floyd at 147 and 140.

Pacquiao's determination and firepower would make Mayweather open up, which could potentially be very bad if Pacquiao can't adjust to the straight right hand. I think it would really be an exciting fight. People who think it would be a boring affair are out of their minds. Martinez is the one guy who I think has everything needed to beat Mayweather (and Pacquiao for that matter). He's a sturdy middleweight with quick feet and an outside game and a solid/fast right jab. Not to mention he packs a very dangerous and sneaky punch. I don't think Floyd would carry the same speed up if he put on 5 or 6 pounds to face Sergio. These guys are just to small for him imo.

Pimp you have to say that there are alot of would ofs and could ofs in Floyds career. Cotto was the man in 2007 , yet Floyd fought Hatton???

Cotto has fought better fighters than Floyd at both 140 and 147.

I don't get why some Floyd fans feel the need to dog Miguel in response to all the suckers who put him on the infamous "____ would have the style to beat Mayweather!!!" list, when Floyd himself doesn't resort to that and simply acknowledges him as a very good but inferior fighter. :huh

Cotto does have a nice jab, but his offense really isn't complex or unpredictable and defensively, he's ridiculously hittable. Feet are too slow as well. It's a terrible matchup for Miguel.

If I were a Mayweather fan to the extent of these posters I think I would just kill myself. Far too much work defending him everyday. Pick a new fighter kids, its easier and you'll enjoy it.

See this is where I see a slight issue , why is Cotto an inferior fighter when he has fought at higher competition at 140 and 147?
