He's undefeated, good looking, has beaten opponents and captured championships through 5 weight divisions, breaks PPV records, has crossed over into the mainstream with appearances on WWE, DWS, Kimmel, etc, and is married to a beautiful model.

Is it because we are racist haters?

Needs to beat Pacquiao. Oh, and because he's black.

  3. Your two questions completely contradict eachother...
It's all about personality and big fights.
    Floyd lacks both.
When i say big fights, i mean, Ali - Liston, Ali - Frazier, Ali - Foreman, Sugar Ray - Duran, Hagler, Hearns.
With Floyd we have maybe, Floyd - De La Hoya but still not big enough.
If he stopped acting like a ***** outside the ring and if he actually fought a fight like Pac or Martinez. He would be in the same light imo.

Because he acts like a juvenile delinquent. Rather than speak eloquently and hold himself with class, he opts to go the gangster route, getting in arguments with people he should just be laughing at, and yelling at old men on PPV television.

Because, for whatever reason, he's not fighting the best comp available to him right now (namely Martinez and Pac).

Floyd doesn't try to be likable. Leonard and Ali did, especially Leonard.

Leonard and Ali took on the best. They both backed up their trash talk also. Didn't make excuses to why they should be the best if they didn't. Ali knew he had to beat Frazier and Foreman to be the best and he did that. Leonard knew he couldn't be the best welterweight without beating Hearns and Duran.

Well in Ali and Leonard's time, there wasn't such a microscope over fighters and their words and actions like it is with Floyd or any other top level fighter of today. If things such as the internet and all that comes with it was around in Leonard time he wouldn't have been as revered as he was back then.

Doubtful. Making the big fights people want, and giving a good, honest showing, are what people want. Makes then very forgiving too. Ali is a big example of that.

Ali is a big example of someone who was also hated through the majority of his career. Once floyd beats pac, people will finally fall in line and just accept that this guy is truly one of the best to ever step in the squared circle.

Just to focus on Leonard, his 2nd reign in boxing which is Hagler fight to the Duran rematch would have brought forth a lot of criticisms if things like the internet were around such as some feeling he avoided McCallum or getting a gift against Hearns or one of the biggest moments of ****ery in boxing history such Leonard winning a 168 and 175 pound title off of one fight against Donny Lalonde, **** like that makes zero sense but its largely forgotten about, and hardly talked about even amongst us hardcore boxing enthusiasts.

Pacquiao gets blasted for winning titles at catch weights against Margo and Cotto, just imagine if he won two different titles in different weight classes off of one fight?.......Leonard was fortunate that the internet wasn't around then cause he would have gotten shitted on severely and rightfully so...

Cmon Leon Ali doesnt try to be likable. This guy opted to be public enemy #1 not just in boxing but of the whole damn country. He got death threats.

The difference is, Floyds a clown and a phony. Ali would have owned that troll DJ.

because ali and leonard werent afraid to fight the best of their generation....not only did they fight the best, but they would actually fight them 2,3 times each without hiding behind ****** obsticles to not have to fight them . end thread :deal:hi:
