Why is Floyd Pattersons speed never really mentioned

    All due respect, but you can't gauge relative speed on a highlight reel.

    Ingo's jab gets there faster than Pattersons when they are trading jabs as often (or more often) than Pattersons get there first.

    And watch Ingo's right-hand knockdowns of Patterson in isolation and they look every bit as fast as the punches Patterson throws on the highlight reel.

    I think it is because he fought in the same time as Ali and was somewhat overshadowed by him especiallly since they fought each other twice.
