why is floyd performance against Ortiz before the KO never talked about?

he was landing those right hands at will...but ortiz did catch him with a short right hook that had floyd reeling. too bad ortiz couldn't follow it up with ****. he missed almost every single shot after that and he threw a **** load. that's why the head butt came. frustration.

 

Who cares what happened right before. Was that the fight time you saw Floyd fight or something? :roll:

But by all means, lets all make a huge fuss over what floyd was doing before the cheap shot. Floyd has NEVER done that before... :tired

 

i suggest u go back and take a look. it shook floyd. he recovered well...but it shook him.

 

I suggest you go get some new coke bottle eye glasses because Ortiz didn't land a single shot that SHOOK anyone in that entire fight.

i'm a floyd fan...and yes...he did get rocked by a right hook that sent him to the ropes prior to the head butt from ortiz.

Making what fuss? Just because all you can do is focus on the KO doesn't mean other people should ignore the work that was put in before it. Chill out.

Being a fan of Floyd has absolutely has nothing do with having the ability to tell the difference between a right hook that lands cleanly and a glancing blow.

Up until the KO, there was nothing special going on, nothing we haven't seen from floyd before. Maybe it was new to you, as it was yungkid, but there was nothing notable about that fight worth revisiting. In al honesty, the way the fight ended, it might as well never even happened. Was a waste of a night...

That said, I'll leave you to your circle jerk...

 

I was enjoying it. He was being very methodical and showing a few new wrinkles against a southpaw, which he was able to do because Ortiz was right-hand dominant. Ortiz did have his moments though, critics exaggerate them and nuthuggers pretend they were of 0 value.

 

Minute for minute, it may be the most exciting fight of Floyds' career.

I thought he was kicking ass but Victor put in the effort to make it somewhat competitive.

The ending was just so dramatic and iconic that nobody can ever talk about any other part of the fight without that dominating the conversation.
