When's the last time James Toney won a meaningful fight?

HOF - thats not the point.

The thread is saying Floyd is scared to take punches and your agreeing he only has a 5% offense.

So I said two fights which prove that the thread and your point of view is bias and more importantly incorrect.

Now that is the point you are failing to accept.

I don't buy that. He promised a KO, the world wants him to KO people, he knows people are turned off by him for not pursuing the KO, so why would he let JMM, the P4P#2 guy off the hook????

He might be those twi, and most of us might believe he would, BUT HE (PBF) doesn't seem to believe he would, otherwise we would have seen those fights by now.

And I do respect and admire his talent, but it doesn't change the fact that he promises to fight this way or to KO that guy, then fights as cautiously as one could possibly fight.

Fraud was one pound heavier than Corley on fight night and had almost every other physical advantages over him(height, reach)and you still think he was bigger than fraud.

It goes back to his original nickname. Pretty Boy. He wants to stay pretty!!!

Isn't the point of boxing to hit and not be hit? Seems like he does a fair job at that.

I just said that they looked to be about the same size. If they were within one pound of each other then I'd say that's the same size. Floyd was one inch taller and had a one and a half inch reach advantage. That's hardly an overwhelming set of physical differences. And, as mentioned, in his next fight at 140 his fight night weight was 142. He obviously wasn't a BIG guy for the weight.

He is not as natural looking as Whitaker more herky-jerky. That dosn't mean his defffinsive skills are any worse or Whitaker liked to be hit and Mayweather dose not.

Problem is that when he's focusing too much on not getting hit, it gets in the way of what could be a great fight.

The problem is also PBF promising an action packed fight.

And when his defense is too much of an obstacle to KO a LW, then you can't wonder and cry about people criticizing you.

I rewatched the Marquez fight and floyd DOES NOT throw punches with him only when he stops but also remember that floyd throws one punch or two at a time. Three hes pushing it and this is why i think that; 1st When he traded with Corley he got stunned and hes been scared ever since. 2nd To ME he isnt a Great combination guy so when he does throw combinations he gets hit a lot. 3rd The Cherrypicked guys he fights doesnt put him in those positions to fight and defend himself.
Im starting to believe, after looking at floyds Last 3 fights, that Mosley might be the Guy to beat Floyd. im feeling weird abput saying that but Floyd might be overhyped just a bit. He didnt fight Forrest, Kosta, zab(before he got beat twice. everone wanted it to happen but Floyd UNTIL he takes a loss). mosley, De la hoya in his prime,...ect. I always felt Floyd gets killed by Kosta and Mayweather knew that too.

mayweather is a master in boxing but he uses to much him elbows, literally it looks like he's strangling his opponents when they come forward.

Threads like this just show you how great PBF is. You have the usual haters reaching for anything they can to try and discredit the man because he's so good they can't point to his perfect record or the fact he's never been dropped so they resort to this. First it was he cheats by ducking and bending below the waist now it's he doesn't want to get hit...****ing hilarious really.

    :lol::rofl:lol::rofl:lol:
Zoo is exactly the kind of guy PBF would excel against. He would take his right hand away and then what? He isn't going to KO PBF and he's not going to outbox him either.:deal
