So Floyd's refusal to even negotiate a cut of the PPV has nothing to do with it?

Right now, his stance is still Pac guaranteed 40 million, and he gets all the upside from PPV. . That's a terrible offer. . .


Why not start at 60/40, and go from there?


If he was willing to do 50/50 then, why not now? Oh, maybe cause Pac called his bluff with the random drug tests?


I was pissed at Pac for not taking the tests, but now that he's agreed (actually along time ago he agreed), Im pissed at Floyd for putting up this money roadblock. .

I just don't see how a real boxing fan can't place blame on Floyd this time around?

That is true a lot of Pac fans jumped ship after they thought he lost the last fight.. If he was scared he wouldn't offer him 40 million to fight him simple as that,it is Pac that felt 40 million was not enough to fight Floyd.

Let's not forget that Floyd was looking to fight Pacquiao on May 5th but Pac's promoter had other plans and Pac seems perfectly fine with that seeing as how he didn't put up any fuss about it. Manny said Freddie's first choice was Floyd during the faceoff but they had the opportunity to do so and found a ton of excuses to put Pac's date off until June. They asked for Floyd to agree to a date when he would be unavailable.

Someone asked Bob Arum what it would take to make the fight. Bob's response was he needed Floyd to agree to take the fight on June 9th. He said this after Floyd was granted a pass until June 1st. The cut was too bad for Pac to be ready on May 5th until Floyd was headed to CCDC. Then, he was ready. Floyd got granted a pass and it was back to June. We know that Bob called HBO trying to get the May 5th date after he said what he said about the cut.

It's simple and plain. Pac and May took appetizer fights against opponents who have similar styles. Ortiz the strong southpaw with speed and power and Marquez the conventional counterpuncher with a high ring IQ. We see who did better so why wouldn't Floyd be ready for Pacquiao after he beat Ortiz and why would Pacquiao claim he's ready for Floyd after his struggles against older, heavier, and slower Marquez?

We see Floyd still going strong at 35. He took some wise and well advised time away, he came back and was well advised to stay active, and his new style of fighting can give any fighter nightmares. He hasn't really taken any abuse while Pacquiao is over 60 fights in. Pac's at the point where wear and tear will show itself. Floyd's still semi-fresh.

Who doesn't want the fight??? Manny got offered more money than he ever made in his life. He said he was going to take the tests so why act like he's making more money than Floyd's offering him? He's ducking and hiding his promoter's lies.
