Yes but we know that the tests are inadequate, Shane has admitted using and he never actually failed a test, did he?

It isn´t. It´s a good thing. Albeit Mayweather isn´t the guy who invented it. This is already common with Sauerland and K2 in Germany because their TV stations demand this.

That fact that fighters have use steroids and still passed the urine test. Is the reason why it's reasonable.

all top class fighters should take these tests. i would love to see everybody take them, but we got to be realistic and say that the small time boxers shows just can't afford to take these kind of tests, and i'm ok with that, i understand that, but worldclass fighters shows can afford it, and should take it because they're the ones who would be more likely to take drugs to just compete at the highest level.

It is not unreasonable. Boxing is a shameful sport at times.

the current testing in boxing is just not good enough with the evolution of drugs. drugs have improved over the years, and the testing has to improve just to compete fairly with the drug takers.

I think due to the cost of these testing it should only take place for big fights like we had this past weekend. For small to mid level fights you won't see it.

It should be mandatory for title fights. Be it domestic or worls titles. I bet together with the fees the promoter have to pay the costs would be so high that we would see less title fights and thus the worth of titles will rise again although - at least of the domestic titles.
Drug tests have many advantages that even out their costs.

Accusing some one of doping with no proof what so ever is unreasonable.

Well, Pacquiao already agreed to 14 day cutoff date. Let's see what Mayweather will demand next. 90/10 purse split?

the question is, why wasn't 14 acceptable before? he surely didn't gain anything by being a ***** and refusing 14 days before

it's hard to prove something if the person doesn't take the tests to prove it. we all know the commissions tests are bollocks.

Very unreasonable considering pacquiao what already agreed to. and that pacquiao has more leverage with his better performances of that time (win over ODLH, hatton, and cotto - much better than floyd against marquez).

Pacquiao agreed to 20 day cut-off to blood testing, and UNLIMITED urine testing, as well as drug testing straight after.. ITs more than enough considering its NOT even mandatory. Floyd is not the commission on drug desting.

i think pacquiao is realising that he's not really equal with floyd on the negotiation table. floyd and mosley could top pacquiao's sales against oscar, and that just proves floyd's the bigger draw. pacquiao i think is accepting this tests now to also get 50-50, which now would of been more unlikely once the mosley-floyd sales come out.
